PSHE
A t St Augustine's CE School, PSHE topics link into our vision and values which are at the core of all we do. Our PSHE units aim to support our children to become independent, confident, healthy and responsible members of society, as well as developing the `whole child` intellectually, morally, socially and spiritually. Our PSHE education helps children to develop skills and attributes they need to manage challenges and responsibilities they will face as they grow up and into adulthood.
PSHE is taught across school from Reception to Year 6 on a weekly basis and the whole school follows and currently adapts the Jigsaw PSHE scheme. This means that the same themes are covered and developed each year. Our PSHE scheme of work and coverage is one of the outcomes on our School Development Plan for 2023/4 and is under review during this academic year.
