Exploring Beliefs

At St Augustine's we are very proud to be a church school and we make all our decisions based on our distinctively Christian Vision. This vision shares our key belief  -  that our school is a 'beacon of hope' for all and reflects our school story of The Good Samaritan with our theological root in the Gospel of Mark - Love your Neighbour as yourself   (Mark 12:31)

Ahmad is our Good Samaritan and moves around school to remind us of our vision. We also share our 'beacon of hope' vision with the whole school community as part of Collective Worship. Each class has a flame to fuel our beacon which is added at the start of worship. Our Worship Liturgy lets us share our vision every morning with each other.
