NASTURTIUM GROWING COMPETITION - Mrs Lee's Blog!
Our wonderful reading volunteer, Susan, loves growing things. She lives near school so she doesn't have a garden but she uses her yard to grow lots of things and she even has an allotment. She is helping us to learn how to grow Nasturtium plants.
Everybody in school has planted three seeds and has taken them home to grow. In September, we will all bring our plants back to school and hopefully, we will have lots of yellowy/orangey flowers to share! The great thing about the flowers on Nasturtium plants is that you can eat them!
Keep an eye out below to follow Mrs Lee's Nasturtium plant as she takes care of it as it grows.

Here is a photo of my plant so far. As it was growing I came up with the idea of writing a blog to show what was happening with my plant so that you could see if your plant was doing the same thing! It is growing really quickly as it is in my dining room and there is lots of light. I think my plant likes it here as it is growing well!
