Welcome to Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary
Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary is part of the City of Sanctuary movement to build a culture of welcome for refugees and people seeking asylum.
We are working to make Calderdale a place that takes pride in the welcome it offers to people in need of safety, and that enables people seeking sanctuary to integrate and contribute fully to the life of our communities. We work through partnerships with statutory, voluntary, business and community groups to create, facilitate and support networks across the valley.
We are made up of 144 individual supporters, 50 organisational members – and counting.
